Rapid Diagnostic Test Kits

All rapid diagnostic test kits sold by Newfoundland Diagnostics Ltd are:

CE/UKCA marked for self-testing where applicable
For preliminary screening purposes only
Not a substitute for professional medical diagnosis
Subject to false positive and false negative results

Laboratory Testing Services

Our laboratory testing services:

Provide health markers and indicators only
Do not constitute medical diagnosis
Require clinical interpretation by qualified external healthcare professionals
Should not be used as the sole basis for medical decisions

Regulatory Status

Rapid Test Kits: We are a distributor of In Vitro Diagnostic (IVD) medical devices. Under UK MDR 2002, liability for product performance rests with the manufacturer. We are a distributor.

Laboratory Services: All testing is carried out by independent laboratories accredited by UKAS to ISO 15189 standards. We act solely as a facilitator of testing services and are not a clinical service provider. Results are provided for informational purposes only and do not constitute a medical diagnosis. You should always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making any medical or lifestyle decisions based on your results.

Test Limitations

Laboratory testing: Generally 18+
Parental consent does not override these restrictions
